Göttinger Kiessee

Only 3.5 km to the Göttinger Kiessee – for relaxing or boat riding.

The Göttinger Kiessee is the “local recreation area” of Göttingen. The people of Göttingen and their guests can meet here for a stroll or a run. Parking is available at the Restaurant Seezauber or along the Sandweg. A play ship with a sandpit is an attraction for children. On the meadows, people can rest and sunbathe, play ball games, make music, relax and barbecue. Barbecue facilities (stone tables) can be found near the play ship. Pedal boats and rowing boats are available for hire from spring to fall. During winter, when the water surface is frozen, there is the possibility of ice skating.
