In the immediate vicinity (footpath 1.3 km) is the Luisenhall salt works – a healthy and eventful excursion. The Luisenhall salt works on the Greitweg is the only commercially operated pan salt works in Europe that produces salt from natural brine for various purposes using old techniques. Among other things, for the well-known Kneipp bath crystals, which conjure up a little wellness in our own bathtub. So it goes without saying that you can not only visit the Luisenhall salt works in Göttingen or buy the purest table salt, but also relax in the Luisenhall salt works bathhouse. Enjoy the natural brine bath with a salt content of 18 % and a temperature of 35 degrees. Musculature, circulation and metabolism benefit from regular, approx. 20-minute stays.
