8,000 years of history of grain and bread near Göttingen
It is only 22 kilometres from the Parkhotel Ropeter Göttingen to the European Bread Museum. Did you know that bread can look back on 8000 years of history? Here you can find out everything that is worth knowing about our favourite food. There are baking activities and every stage of bread production from the mill to the oven is perfectly illustrated. On the large outdoor grounds, there are not only a number of tools to admire, but also the trestle windmill and the water mill, which have been specially moved to the museum. In combination with the Wilhelm Busch Mill, the museum village of Ebergötzen offers a wide range of attractions for all ages. With a journey time of about half an hour from the Parkhotel Ropeter Göttingen, Ebergötzen is definitely worth a visit.
